Working from a studio in the beautiful Lune Valley, bordering on the Lake District and the Yorkshire Dales,  every footstool is made by hand using the finest British materials.

Each Tuffett is unique because the legs are hand-turned to any design and we can match the colour or the shape of the legs to your other furniture if required. We also hand-stain and polish the legs or they can be painted to any colour.

 

The oak we use is from a 300 year old tree which stood on the lawn of Bolton Hall in Yorkshire. The beech is from a 100 year old tree felled at Appersett in Yorkshire. Rare spalted beech,  solid mahogany or ash are other options.
